Kinda sad, looking at the teams with the exception of Chicago/St. Louis, no rich history what so ever... Almost looks generic...

I know we went from the toughest division to the weakest. Chicago and St. Louis are going to have a field day with these teams!

Everyone has said the Central is weak. We shall see.

My order of finish is

St. louis
Chicago
Minnesota
Dallas
Winnipeg
Colorado
Nashville

I think Colorado's roster is pretty solid, though thin on defense. The X-factor is maniac coach Patrick Roy, who I think is anything but capable of managing an NHL club. With that said, I still think they're better than Nashville, and probably Winnipeg and Dallas too.

nothing easy about this division. bottom half teams like nash and peg are going to be a grind, making your next game harder. colorado is within striking distance of maturation but the d needs a boost. i would call them the easiest match in the division in terms of coming out with a win and an unscathed roster. i don't really know what to make of dallas lot's of solid pieces but maybe a few too many liabilities. i think all 4 of these teams are so tight that injuries and minor trades could really shuffle them about in the standings.

i'm going to take my high hopes of internal blues improvement and put the division as

1. st louis
2. chicago
3. minny
4. nash
5. dal
6. win
7. col

Anyone else hear the rumor about the Avs passing on Jones because Popeye put it to Roy's wife back in the late 90's?
